Spikkeland Viltslakteri is opgericht in 2000 en is een familiebedrijf. Het bedrijf is goedgekeurd door de Noorse Voedselveiligheidsautoriteit en we hebben het ovale stempel. We zijn onlangs ook lid geworden van het lokale voedsel-/voedsellabel. Ons hoofdseizoen is vanaf september leeg. December. Gedurende deze periode slachten en versnijden wij ca. 180 elanden, 100 herten, 40 rendieren en enkele reeën. Een deel van het vlees gaat terug naar de jagers, maar in 2018 hadden we ca. 8 ton elandenvlees, 2 ton hertenvlees en flink wat rendier- en reeënvlees te koop.
