Botash, een joint venture tussen de regering van Botswana en Kulczyk Investments, levert natriumcarbonaat aan regionale glasfabrikanten, producenten van wasmiddelen en chemische bedrijven. De productie ervan maakt Botswana tot een van de weinige natriumcarbonaatexporteurs in het ten zuiden van de Sahara gelegen deel van Afrika.
