Baladna Food Industries, opgericht in 2017 tijdens de blokkade van Qatar, bouwde snel Qatar's grootste melkveebedrijf en verwerkingsfaciliteit en bereikte volledige zelfvoorziening op het gebied van zuivel voor het land. Het bedrijf produceert verse melk, yoghurt, laban, kaas en sap en is uitgebreid met de export naar aangrenzende GCC-landen. Baladna vertegenwoordigt de voedselzekerheidsstrategie van Qatar in actie.
