Pierwszym środkiem transportu był wówczas wóz konny, służący do zbierania mleka. 1934 Pierwsza ciężarówka marki Mercedes-Benz o mocy 65 KM i ładowności 3 ton zastąpiła wóz konny. 1952 Leonhard Enßner przejął firmę od ojca i rozszerzył ją o handel materiałami budowlanymi. 1974 Firma została przekazana synowi Konradowi Enßnerowi.
