Stowarzyszenie Pokosów Pokosowych Doliny Północnego Okanagan zostało utworzone przez grupę osób, które wnikliwie uświadomiły sobie problem głodu na świecie i fakt, że dolina Okanagan jest bogata w zasoby żywności. Niestety duża część naszej lokalnej produkcji żywności marnuje się. Chęć wykorzystania tych pokłosów do nakarmienia głodnych w innych krajach przekonała ich do działania. Dystrybucją zajmują się renomowane i uznane chrześcijańskie organizacje pomocowe, które nawiązały współpracę
