Wydaje się, że nie tak dawno temu dzieliliśmy się naszymi pierwszymi doświadczeniami z kołami balansowymi, wyjaśnialiśmy, dlaczego jest on znacznie fajniejszy niż rower z dodatkowymi kołami. Bo to rower, którym już bardzo małe dziecko - do 2 roku życia i jeszcze młodsze - jest w stanie poradzić sobie zupełnie samodzielnie, jeździć nim po każdej nawierzchni, sprawnie nim manewrować, pokonywać duże dystanse, jeździć pod górę i zjeżdżać po pagórkach i jeździć do woli, z wielką radością. Podobnie jak w całym świecie, było to coś nowego i na Łotwę przybywało stopniowo - czemu towarzyszyło wiele sceptycznych komentarzy i niedowierzających spojrzeń. Jednak tak naprawdę minęło 8 lat od naszego pierwszego balansu, staliśmy się mądrzejsi i bardziej doświadczeni w tej dziedzinie, a sytuacja na świecie i na Łotwie zasadniczo się zmieniła.
