Calzutirificio Soldini'nin tarihi, 1945 yılında, şirketin kalbinin bugün hala bulunduğu Arezzo ilinin küçük bir kasabası olan Capolona'da başlıyor. Gustavo Soldini, kardeşleri Giuseppe ve Ermenegildo ile birlikte, babalarının ölümünden sonra "Fratelli Soldini" adlı şirketin ayakkabı laboratuvarının işini devraldı ve Arezzo ve Floransa yerel pazarını hedefleyen, kadın ve erkek ayakkabıları üretmeye yönelik tamamen zanaatkar bir iş başlattı. 1950'lerde işin gelişmesiyle birlikte, Arno nehri kıyısındaki Capolona'da ilk fabrika ve ardından Anghiari'de ikinci fabrika açıldı; bu, zanaatkarlıktan endüstriyel üretime geçişi simgeleyen ve 800'den fazla çalışana istihdam sağlayan bir fabrikaydı.
