Filatura Bertoglio Italo s.a.s. 1946 yılında Bay Italo tarafından Biella'da Cervo deresi kıyısındaki bir binada kuruldu. 1961 yılında halen bulunduğu Maglioleo sanayi bölgesine taşındı. Aile, 70 yıldır şirketin üretim kapasitesinde kademeli fakat sürekli bir artış olmasını sağlamak için çalışıyor ve ürün kalitesinin gerçek "İtalya'da Üretildi" şeklindeki çok yüksek standartlara göre sürekli iyileştirilmesine özellikle dikkat ediyor. Yatırımların genel olarak dondurulduğu son yıllarda bile Filatura Cardata Bertoglio, her tür geleneksel karde ipliği üretmek amacıyla üretimi daha rasyonel hale getirmek için yeni bir tesis açtı.
