Tokoname is one of Japan's Six Ancient Kilns, producing the famous red-clay teapots (kyusu) used in traditional Japanese tea ceremony alongside contemporary ceramic cups, sake sets, and decorative tiles. Tokoname clay's natural antimicrobial properties are believed to mellow the tannins in green tea. Exports to tea accessories retailers, Japanese home goods importers, and wellness product distributors worldwide.
