Government-mandated livestock breeding and live animal export centre supplying improved Borana cattle, Somali sheep, and Hararghe goats to Gulf Cooperation Council importers for Eid and regular market demand. ALIC operates feedlots, veterinary quarantine stations, and export loading facilities at Djibouti port. Animals are exported with OIE-compliant health certificates, HACCP-reviewed feed records, and full breed verification. Annual export capacity of 250,000 sheep and 50,000 cattle.
