Ashaka Cement is a Holcim subsidiary operating a cement plant in Ashaka, Gombe State — the only major cement facility in North-East Nigeria — with an installed capacity of approximately 1 million tonnes per year. The plant produces Portland cement for the building and construction market across Nigeria's North-East zone and neighbouring Cameroon. Ashaka Cement is listed on the NGX and has long been a strategic supplier to dam and road construction projects in the sub-region.
