Misr Spinning & Weaving Company (known as Ghazl El Mahalla) is Egypt's—and one of Africa's—largest integrated textile companies, operating a vertically integrated cotton spinning, weaving, dyeing and finishing complex in Mahalla El Kubra. The plant employs over 25,000 workers and produces around 650 million metres of fabric per year. It exports cotton yarn, greige and finished fabric to over 30 countries.
