Grande Maputo operates Mozambique's largest garment manufacturing and textile-printing facility in the Beluluane Industrial Park near Maputo, producing cut-and-sew garments, printed fabrics, and uniforms under AGOA preferential trade access for export to the United States and Southern African markets. The company employs predominantly women from the Maputo metropolitan area and participates in skills-development programmes. Its AGOA-eligible production of apparel provides Mozambique with a competitive foothold in the US textile-import market.
