PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (Japfa) is one of Asia's largest integrated protein producers, listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and headquartered in Jakarta. Founded in 1971, the company operates a fully integrated poultry supply chain in Indonesia including grandparent and parent breeding farms, broiler hatcheries, commercial chicken growing, compound feed mills, poultry processing plants, and branded consumer food distribution. Japfa also operates beef cattle feedlots, a dairy farming division and an aquaculture segment. In feed manufacturing, Japfa operates more than 15 compound feed mills across Indonesia with a total capacity exceeding 4 million tonnes per annum, making it Indonesia's largest compound feed producer. Japfa's international business, Japfa Ltd, operates integrated poultry, feed and aquaculture businesses in Vietnam, Myanmar, Bangladesh and India under joint-venture arrangements. B2B sales channels include independent broiler growers purchasing day-old chicks and feed under contract schemes, aquaculture farms purchasing catfish and shrimp feed, and institutional buyers sourcing dressed poultry through the Japfa Best brand.
