Lafarge Mozambique is a Holcim Group subsidiary operating a cement-grinding plant at Nacala port in northern Mozambique that grinds imported clinker to produce Portland cement and composite cements for the rapidly expanding Nampula and Cabo Delgado provincial construction markets. The Nacala plant supplies building contractors, infrastructure programmes, and construction-material dealers across northern Mozambique and benefits from the deep-water port's logistical infrastructure. Lafarge Mozambique also distributes cement to southern Malawi and eastern Zambia via the Nacala corridor.
