Companhia Industrial de Matola (CIM) operates Mozambique's largest wheat-flour mill in the Matola industrial zone south of Maputo, importing hard wheat and milling it into bread flour, cake flour, semolina, and bran sold to industrial bakeries, household consumers, and food manufacturers across southern Mozambique. CIM's Matola mill has a daily milling capacity of over 700 tonnes, making it the backbone of the Mozambican wheat-flour supply. The company also produces wheat bran as an animal-feed ingredient distributed to the poultry and pig-farming sectors in Maputo Province.
