The company traces its history to 1908 and today operates three main divisions: animal feeds (Unga Farmcare), flour milling (Unga Limited), and farm inputs. The Unga Farmcare division manufactures compound feed for broilers, layers, turkey, pigs, dairy cows, beef cattle and rabbits at production facilities in Nairobi and Eldoret, Kenya, with a combined capacity sufficient to supply commercial integrators and smallholder farmers across the East Africa Community.
